  error 1335 while installing avid MC 3.5

  hello everyone, i really need your help:
  I have reinstalled windows, and now, while I’m trying to install avid MC 3.5 i get an error 1335 saying:

  the cabinet file ‘MediaC-1.cab’ required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. this could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

  i tried different installations, that worked in the past, and everytime i get this error.

  does anyone has an idea?

  Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6750 2.66GHz
  1.98GB of RAM, Windows XP pro SP2

  Are you installing from a CD or a download.
