  I have been editing with Avid Media Composer on a MacBook (white) and all of a sudden – problems – on launching it I get…

  Segmentation Fault in thread “Main Thread” at address 0x0

  then, in another window I get

  Exception MSM: no directory specified_3

  Help!

  What version MC and OS are you running? QT version? How are your media drives hooked up?
