  Premiere to AVID

  Hi.

  I have an Adobe Premiere project made using only 3d max rendered media.

  Now I want to import it into Avid Media Composer. I made my aaf file and copy all the media, brought it to the Avid system, and import them. But, how can I make Avid to recognice the media since it doen’t have any Tape ID. I can’t manage to relink the media!!

  If the media is there and the sequence is there, you could set Bin Display to display the clips used in the sequence, then add (fake) tapenames to those, and assign the same tapenames to the imported media you find in the Media Tool. Then relink. Be sure to not create duplicate tape/timecode, since then you will get false relinks.
