  clip frame refreshing

  Hi,

  As I’m working in Avid it constantly refreshes the timeline clip frames after every edit. Moving a clip in the bin (in frame view) also causes this.

  It makes every move take a little bit longer than I’d like as I wait for everything to finish refreshing. Just a bit irritating.

  Is there a setting that anyone knows about to help this?

  what do you mean by “timeline clip frames”?

  In the timeline’s fast menu, you see an option for ‘clip frames’.

  Ram eaters. You’ll find better performance in turning those off.

  never used them, i would agree to just turn’em off.
