  Media Composer flamethrower error!

  I just installed media composer vista 64 with new intel chip, everything is fine. in Media composer I’m getting flamethrower error when playing a sequence on timeline, stuttery, I have read something about output to dv deck and to turn off, but howe can it be displayed on exteranl monitor? I’m using onboard firewire on motherboard too, could that be an issue. Please help also are there avid nvidia drivers for 64 bit yet or just use nvidia drivers.

  64 bit is a whole new world. If you are on the xw8600, then yes, you need an additional firewire card. The nvidia driver should be located under c:program filesAvidUtilities.
