Hi, I’ve been editing a film for the past two days and rendering on the fly is checked on and has been working really well…everything has been rendering perfectly..all the sudden now everything has the blue dot and needs to be rendered separately and nothing will render on the fly…the last thing I did was import a credit sequence from AE and render it in and change the alpha in the effects panel. I’m not sure what to do at this point, rendering everything constantly is become very difficult…
System specs – quad core 3.0GHZ intel Mac Pro, 4GB Ram, 8800GT nvidia card.

-Edit 1 – Nevermind I restarted Avid and I’m going Green again…weird though, not sure why that happened or how to prevent it from happening again.

    – Edit 2 – i keep answering my own questions here but just incase someone has the same issue…it was because my timeline quality was set on Full Quality, once I put it down to Draft Quality all my realtime rendering came back.

That is the behavior for Adrenaline hardware based systems as far as green/green etc. for real time playback.
