  import 30fps quicktime as 25fps slomo

  i have dailies, shot with a mark5 II camera, which recorded 30fps quicktime files.

  i need to import these files now into a 25p project by slowing everything down to 25p. (MC 2.8)

  is there a way to do this, except converting the QT files to image sequences before the import?

  another solution would help here a lot, because i have to deal with a lot of QT files.
  If i don’t find a solution, i will have to edit this in final cut, where i can tell the program in which framerate to playback the QT footage…

  …i don’t want to work in final cut, damn!

  There is a console command “ignoreqtrate”. After you set that, your QT movies will come in frame for frame.

  The full console command is:

  ignoreqtrate true

  ignoreqtrate false will turn it off.
