Avid Marquee
Posted by Paul Vanderveen on March 8, 2009 at 3:18 pmI am running 3.0 on an Avid approved XP OS laptop. I can’t seem to save a title created in Marquee to a bin. Any bin.

March 9, 2009 at 12:31 pmWhen working with a new title:
Cntrl-s will save the title parameters to a .mqp file.
Cntrl-b will save the title to a bin. When working with an existing title, or a promoted title, closing marquee will save the title.
How are you doing it?

March 9, 2009 at 12:55 pmThanks for the response.
I was choosing “save to bin” from the File menu. When I do the usual dialog appears offering the chance to name the title along with the usual save parameters. I name it and click OK …. nothing happens. Also when I try to access the Marquee Help menu the app wants to crash and I get a Windows dialog stating that Marquee “has encountered a problem and needs to close”. Do I need to re-install? Hope not.

March 9, 2009 at 5:31 pmI have seen this with the wrong version of Nvida drivers. During the save Marquee will render the file.
Best regards
