  Avid workflow with RED

  Hello

  I do not have actual problem yet But we have three productions going on with Red and huge amount projects are waiting so is here anyone who has already done whole project with Red. My aim is to get DPX files at the end (wiht out DS unfortunately)I do know all the manuals from Avid side and there shouldn’t be any problems but … I like to hear tips and suggestions what is best way to proceed from someone who has already done that in a real life.

  Our current workflow is done through REDrushes and import media with the ALE-list. Ale-list are imported to Avid ( this is the point where we stand at the moment)

  Then there is the mxf way- is that worth of trying or is the edl-way better. Color Correction for two is done in Scratch and one is done in Lustre. Any functional tips and experience are more than welcome.
