• Avid Media Composer

  Audio out…

  I am using my Avid MC 3.0.5 on my Mac Pro…no Avid hardware. I need to get audio out to my Mixer…which is connected via the headphone/speaker jack on my computer. I did this before, but then reformatted and reinstalled Avid. Now I can’t find where the option is…

  Ahhhh…I just figured it out. I also have FCP on this machine (different partition), and the MXO 2. I disconnected the MXO 2 and now I hear things fine.

  Shane,

  Is the MXO2 working with MC at all? I know the original MXO did, but I haven’t heard of the MXO2 doing it yet.

  Nope. Not at all. In fact, it interferes if it is connected.

  Yup…because it connects via the DVI port and takes a computer signal…therefor can output that computer signal to any monitor you connect to it, and then you can use the FULL SCREEN DISPLAY on that.

  Been doing that for 3 months.
