  Problem with importing markers

  Hi!

  I’m having some problems importing markers in Avid MC 3.0.5.

  In the project I’m working on I am heavily dependent on markers, and being able to edit them faster than in Avid so I’m exporting them as a text file, edit in a spreadsheet, export back to a text file and try to import them back to the timeline in question.

  The problem is, nothing happens. I have even tried to import the exact file that Avid creates when exporting markers, but still nothing happens.

  I have googled this but can’t find a solution. Does anyone here know what to do?

  Is the sequence the active monitor when you do the import?

  Yes, it is.

  I don.t even get an error message. It’s just that nothing happens …

  Very strange. What did you export with as far as timecode, footage, etc?
