  FCP QT’s into Avid?

  I have Final Cut Pro Quicktime files (DVCPRO HD) that I need to get into my Avid Adrenaline HD to edit. Any ideas on this file translation?

  Unless your computer has FCP installed, it will not see these files at all. They are made with a codec that only comes with FCP. So you can’t even convert them unless you have FCP installed on the computer.

  You will need to get them in another form…another codec that works on both machines.

  If you don’t have FCP, you need a DVCProHD decoder like Raylight. Download the demo here (watermarked until you buy it).
