Hello. We are trying to get a true 10 bit QT or other uncompressed file out of our nitrus. When we use QT export we check the 10 bit box and the avid still exports an 8 bit file. The footage is 720 60 fps HD green screen and will be keyed in a flame so that extra two bits is critical to get that perfect key. There is no audio with the clips, so a file sequence would be fine, we just really need those 10 bit files. Thanks~

We were using no compression, but I have since discovered that the footage, which was shot on Varicam, is only 8 bit not 10 bit, so a 10 bit codec would not help us anyway. I don’t know if you have used this format, but it is really NOT good. Filled with problems. Thanks for responding however.
