  Encoding from avid QT

  Im editing on a intel mac using MC 2.6.
  everything looks fine on my monitors, but when i export out either ‘Same as source’ or reference QT, and put it in to squeeze or procoder for encoding the picture is Very dark almost as thought the Gamma has been turned down.

  I have tried loads of export variations (settings) like RGB and 601, and ramped up then saturation before export but nothing works.
  I have had problems with QT before and wonder if it is how it is dealing with the file.

  Any ideas it is a real pain.
  I know this might not technically be a Avid problem but thought other Avid users may have came across this before.

  Be sure you are using QT 7.1 and OS 10.4.6 for that version of MC and your Mac.
