Hi folks — I have a question I’m hoping you can help me answer.

Can anyone tell me how well the Nitris and Premiere CS3 work together? A production shop I deal with just bought a Nitris, but it will primarily be used to edit and produce their 30 minute show. All of the segment edits will be done on laptops running Premiere CS3. The source will generally be from DV tape.

Is there a common format or settings that the laptops should or can digitize to so the Nitris can read it?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Mike

assuming you are just talking about the BOB, you can run MC and Premiere on the same box. Ya just can’t use media from one app to the next, nativly anyway.
If you are talking about a DS, man don’t go loadin premiere on that.

With CS4 – you have the ability to import/export AAF and Adobe pretty much reads any codec on your system. It’s Premiere 4.0.1 which is a recent update
