  Windows XP Service Pack 3?

  My desktop computer advises that Service Pack 3 is available. And I’m installing it on the machine.

  But is it save for Avid? Has Avid posted any advice on the subject?

  It’s currently not supported, but last I heard on the Avid forums it’s close to certification. There are some folks running it, and they haven’t reported problems. To be perfectly safe, don’t install it, but if you choose to–let us know if something bad happens, and let us know if it doesn’t too.
