  Effect/dissolves only EDL

  Assistant editor here, totally out of her element…

  I was asked to create an EDL that only lists the fade-ins/fade-outs as well as dissolves. I tried doing this with EDL manager, but I can’t seem to wrap my mind around how to do it. I looked into maybe creating the list in FilmScribe.

  I outputted…something…from FilmScribe and I used the list options as follows:
  Film TC
  Camroll
  VFX Reel
  Master TC
  Name
  Reel #
  Start TC

  Am I on the right track? Someone please help!

  Create an optical list in FilmScribe. It will events that are not straight cuts.
