    Hi all

Problems are arising and as is sometimes the case no-one knows the solution, so it’s time for cows to moo so to speak.

We have a MC version 2.7.2 with SDI Mojo on a MacBook Pro, Tiger version 10.4.11. The message we keep getting here is flamethrower timeout error. I have seen solutions for the PC on my web travels but no help with OSX.

Anyone know what we should do here?

    Cheers
    Phil

I’m not saying that it is the solution, but I don’t think 10.4.11 is supported for 2.7.2. AFAIK, you should be on 10.4.9 and QT 7.1.6, or upgrade the application.

You are going to find it easier updating MC to 2.8.2, as it is compatible with your OS. Though finding the QT version is a bit of a hassle. The thing with an Avid system is it is better to devote the system to Avid system requirements and make everything else put up with it.

Shouldn’t be too hard to find the right version of QuickTime:
