    Hi,
I’m trying to connect a Mojo to a BetaSP recorder (analog). I have two converters which turn the SDI and AES signals into analog. The video is working fine, but I just can’t get the audio going out of the computer to work. The converter I’m using is an AJA ADA4. This converter has XLR’s only, so in order to connect the BNC’s coming from the Mojo to the ADA4, I’m also using an XLR to BNC adapter. The funny thing is that I can digitize audio just fine, but when I play it back, it will not show up in the meters of the Beta recorder.
Anyone know how to fix this or at least what can be causing it?
I have tested the converter with other systems and it is working fine. I have also connected the Mojo to another recorder with AES inputs and without the converter it works fine. It’s only when I bring both of them together and try to turn AES into an analog signal that nothing will come through.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

sounds liek the deck just may not be hooked up right. Do ya see avid’s meters workin? do ya hear it?
you did mean xlr to rca, not bnc, right?
With the adapter, you’d still bring it in digital in your settings as those settings will not know about the adapter.

Actually I’m trying to get it to the deck through the AES BNC cables on the Mojo. We were going to connect the RCA’s to the Speaker monitors so we can monitor out of the Mojo.
The meters are there, I can see them, and also If I connect the mojo directly, but without the converter, to another computer that can also digitize, the audio goes right through. It’s only when the ADA4 is converting that I don’t get the audio to go through. We’ve gone through the connections a million times and they are correctly set-up. We’ve even tried the same set-up having the AES audio come out of a KONA3 to the converter and from there to the deck and it works perfectly. There’s something about the Mojo that it seems not to like. I’m out of options here.
