I shot some 24p footage with the JVC 250 Pro HD camera.
I digitized it and and dropped it into a 23.976 time line and it’s all interlaced.
    WHY??
    Did I do something wrong?
The only way I can get a progressive video is to export a QT ref file and squeeze it.

    Please help

I had the same problem with 24p footage shot with a DVX 100, but in Final Cut Pro. If the subject or content of the footage is moving too fast through the frame, you will see the interlace, because of the slower frame rate. At least that is what my problem was. Maybe that will help you out? Not sure what you could do to save it other than squeeze it like you said.
