  Avid Crashes when exporting

  I am crashing every time I try to customize the and export. I click on the video settings and it crashes. Also, when I try to export Same as source the Avid spits out a small quicktime. Any ideas as to what is going on?

  Are you PC or Mac? What version of Avid? What version of the operating system on your PC or Mac? What version of Quicktime? If on a PC, what drivers for you video card? Which video card do you have? Have you updated anything no your system lately?

  We need a lot more info before we can start to help. Right now there are too many variables missing to make an educated guess.

  I have the same problem, it works if I use the same as source setting but if I try to customize the settings the avid crashes.
  I use a pc with XP pro, avid xpress pro 5.7.2, Nvidia 9600 GT and nvidia driver 6.14.11.7416, Quicktime 7.4.2.
  What updates do you have in mind? I have a K-lite codec pack installed.

  I tried to reinstall the XP pro an dalso the avid but it still doesn´t work. Any clues?
