    hi im todd,

i recently downloaded trapcode particular 2.0 for a project im doing. When i applied it to a layer it put the particles on but also but an “X” on the layer. I payed no attention to it. However when i rendered it the “X” was on the video! I tried everything but i can’t get the “X” to go without the particles going as well. Can someone please help!?!?!?

That X is because you’re using the demo of Particular. Buy the product and register it and the x will go away.

    hi todd.
well, i am also using trapcode particular for after effects.
I faced same problem earlier but actually this is not a problem.
This red colored X lines appears when a valid serial number and username for this plug-in were not given. so, if you have a registration
, enter serial number and user name.
    You should try this:-
    1. create a solid layer and apply trapcode particular to it.
    2. In effect control window,on the top, click on “option” link and when a dialog window opens complete your registration online or enter serial number and user name if you have.

The trial version puts that red x on it. Once you buy the product it will go away.
