    Hi,

I’ve recently upgraded from Avid Express DV, to Avid Express Pro with a Mojo. This is on a G5. The dongle upgrade was smooth and good to go, but when I load the program, a window pops up that says “Exception: DISK_ACCESS_DENIED, filename Site_Attributes

    File:/Snapshots/reing.relenginte2_1181955636/vobs/ppg/Ulshell2.0/CoreClassics/AApplication.c. Line 3732.

I don’t know what this means, but I can create report, exit, continue, or debugger. Anything but debugger shuts teh program down, if i do press debugger, the program continues to load but gives me “bus error”in thread “MainThread”, at address oxbfffeb0. Then the program shuts down.

I’ve re-installed the program 6 times. Doesn’t seem to help.

I have a deadline due on Sunday… Help!

What version of Xpress Pro are you running, what version of OS X are you running, and what version of Quicktime? Also, have you repaired disk permissions after you installed Avid? It might help.

    Michael.

Hey just wondering if you’ve gotten this straightened out, My job has just recently purchased a new Mac Pro and Avid Xpress. I get the same thing you do and I’ve installed and quit and installed and quit. I even brought the software home on my Imac and nothing gives, I get the same error. If you did find a solution or what the problem is I’d love to know my email is nick.young2@us.army.mil. I’ve got deadlines too…Thanks in advance.
