Totally newbie question here, I know, but I haven’t figured out how to do this with MC yet.

I have been using Avid Liquid for a few years. In Liquid, we have containers that allow you to wrap up the contents of multiple tracks into a single entity, then you can apply your FX to that single segment as a whole.

Try as I might, I can’t find the equivalent of that in MC. I have several segments sequentially on the timeline. I wish to apply a single timewarp to the entire set of segments.

How do I group these so I can accomplish that?

    Thanks,
    M

Good news and bad news for ya…
    Good news:
To apply the same effect to multiple clips simply ALT+lasso left to right over the clips you want to select (this is a quick way to select the clips in Segment mode) then
ALT+double-click the effect to want to apply directly from the Effects Palette.
    Bad news:
You can’t apply Timewarp effects to multiple clips (unlike on the DS). Timewarps have to be applied to individual clips only (and on the bottom layer on any effects stack).
