  Digital Cut with Panasonic 455E……??

  Hi,
  We are cutting a daily soap with Avid Xpress Pro 5.7,Mojo on HPXW8000.
  The shoot is done on Sony DV tapes and DVCAM mode.We are trying to do a Digital Cut with Panasomic 455E deck having a Firewire card .
  Deck has been configured as Panasonic 455e in deck configuration.Capturing is all right through same deck both DV and DVCPRO.
  When we are playing from the time line the audio levels do not show up in the deck(as they do in Sony 45p)and deck gives an error E-16.
  While doing digital cut the deck starts recoding but only black is recorded without any audio.
  All the tracks and are selected.I think output the deck is unable to receive input thru Mojo though in capture deck controls are working.
  Can someone help please…..?

  You did set the deck to DVC pro and you want to master to DVC PRO, don’t you?
  I don’t think the 455 is able to record onto dvCam tapes, nor can it record in dvCam. (AFAIK)

  What happens if you just crash record? Does it display E-E ?
