I’m hoping that I can use some of the text animators to accomplish this:
At the moment I’m using individual masks to reveal letters of a word/sentence, that fade up randomly from 0 to a maximum of 80. But over the period of time that it’s coming up to the max, it fades up and down with random degrees of opacity. Meaning, over a 10 second period it will go from 0-70-40-60-35-80-40-80 etc etc. Perhaps expressions would aid this, but I have yet to master expressions, let alone start to learn them. Time is not something i have a lot of.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hey Dave,
I have tried that, but either I’m not applying wiggler to the right attribute, or it’s not really able to single out each letter to vary the amount its fading up and down as it eventually builds up to 80.

If I got it right I suggest you start by applying one of those presets to the text:

    Fluorescent Light

    Office Light

and then tweakin it to get where you want.

I couldn’t test it here for I´m rendering right now.

But I gess it might give you a kick start.

    Cheers.

thanks adriano, i will mess around with the expression parameters, although as I mentioned, expressions are not my strong suit, so it will be a trail and error.
    thanks again
