What can I get into and out of the software only version running on a Macbook Pro CD2?
I don’t want to buy a MoJo or an Adrenaline box. I just want to use the software
and the firewire connection. I went to the AVID site but they are not very clear
    about this.

    Thanks,
    Dan

    You can I/O via firewire:

    Tape: DV/DVCPRO/DVCAM, DVCPRO50, DVCPROHD, HDV

    File: P2, XDCAM, XDCAM HD

    Thanks.
I did not know AVID Media Composer worked with DVCPRO HD native from
firewire input. Is this something recently new with AVID? I had previously read
on this forum to get that to work you had to have Final Cut Pro loaded on your
system as well, so you had the Quicktime DVCPRO HD codec available.
    Not anymore I take it?

    Dan,

Avid started supporting DVCPROHD natively with version 5.0 around the beginning of the year in 2005.
