  why render taking so long??

  im on MC software with SDI mojo.

  i have a 30 minutes clip i captured and layed an image resize with 80 width on it.

  now i want to dump to tape but it wants to render the effect.

  it says it will take 3 hours to render.

  what is the deal??

  You can odo the real time version, but he HQ setting on the resize (high quality) takes its time as part of the render process.

  there is no HQ setting on the effect. I am on MComposer not xpro

  Media Composer has the same HQ button. Open up the Effect parameters and see if it is active.

  Also check the render settings in the setting window. If you have it set to high quality, it will override whatever is set in the effect.

  thanks. i changed it to standard quality and now it only takes 11 minutes.
