Adrenaline compositing
Hi
I am not very experienced at comping, and could do with some help.
Bear with me and I’ll break down the task:
I have a VFX shot to mock up. It’s a crowd on a hill with a VFX crowd extension to go in the background (behind the first layer of real crowd.
I have these elements:
1.Live action plate with the 3 person deep crowd.
2.A matte of the crowd(at least I think it is),it’s a black clip with a red silhouette of the crowd
3.A wireframe model of the crowb extension, blue wireframe on grey background so i’m able to key it.
My thinking is that i could put it together by having element 1 as my background plate on V1, element 2 (crowd extension) superimposed on V2 (fine up to this point), and then on the top layer the real crowd, somehow isolated from the original plate (element 1) by using the red silhouette and the matte key effect.
Unfortunately I can’t get this to work.
Anyone want to write down a quick tutorial for me?
It would be immensely appreciated.
