Quick Effect prob
i have just started working on avid xpress pro 5 hd and i am facing a problem initially while apllying effects through quick transition. while opening the dialouge box i cant add affect as default setting show 0 value in both the options and when i try changing the value it keeps on being 0 only. actually i am applying the effect between two still pictures .
please tell me a solution
help will be appreciated. -

I think your problem maybe that you do not have enough space for the transition to take hold. My guess is that you imported two photos at let’s say 10 seconds each. You grabed them from the bin and placed them in the timeline. You didn’t give the images enough overlap. Set the in and out points at like 7 seconds for both photos and replace them into the timeline. That should fix the problem.
