  Backing up and reformatting?

  Ok I have an Avid AdrenilineHD on a xw8200 CPU. it has been giving lots of random errors and freezing in the timeline. I’ve gone through Avid support several times and never managed to pin dow the exact problem sinc ethe errors seem so random. I’ve troubltshot just about everything softwarewise I can think of and still no solution. The system has been running for ages without a clean Windows Install so I just think it’s time to start from scratch. Unfoertunalty there is a long term project working on the system that needs to be up and running almsot immediately.

  So my question is in order to preserve the current project with minimal interruption what steps do I need ot take? What files should be backed up and how can I guarenntee when I reformat that things will get up and running again smoothly?
