  Thread Bus Error related to drives?

  Hi folks,

  I’ve been trying to output an omf for protools from a 2hr movie on my Media Composer 2.5 (softare based) G5 and I consistantly get this Main Thread Bus Error. I’ve seen some other posts about this, that people have gotten the error on importing or rendering, but I’ve never gotten it until now. The avid works fine usually. The omf processes chugs along til the very end and then crashes with this error. I’ve tried repairing permissions on the users, but everything SEEMS to be correctly set at read/write. One thing about my system is that we have about 10 firewire drives hooked up to the G5. If it crashes, it will always have to rebuild the media directories on a few drives. Is this problem somehow related to the amount of drives I have, or the system not having permission to write to them? How do I fix this?
