I am involved on a tape to film project, where some shots were done using a JVC HD10 camera.

This model shoots HDV in 720/30p. The question is how to get at least to 25p, which could be transferred direct to film.

An idea I had was to de-interlace the 30p (if possible) to 60i, then convert 60i to 50i.

How can I do that conversion?

    Two reasons:

    1) Main shooting will be with Sony Z1s. They can shoot 50i, which is the best way (economically and quality wise) to transfer to film.

    2) We do not have access to any 24p cameras, like JVC HD110 or Pana HVX200.
