If I mark IN and OUT points on the timeline for video and its audio, then do a
MAKE SUBCLIP- it appears in the bin as a SEQUENCE, not a subclip.

    Here’s why I’m trying to do that…
I have a 3 cam shoot and one idiot cam op stopped recording and then started again.
I sync’d the beginning cut the footage at the stop/start frame for vid and audio, moved it down and resync’d the tail to the other tracks.

I want to group the tracks/clips but I have this gap. I wanted to make a subclip of the entire track with the void in the middle so it is the same length as the others as a whole.

I know I can split the timeline and edit the two halves independently but that … sucks.

Any pros got some help for me?

what’s the difference for u if you edit with a subsequnce or a subclip?
if you already did all the preparing work for the clips, so why not take them as yoru new ‘sources’?

Because you cannot GROUP subsequences for multicam editing…

Can you do a match-frame and then subclip from the source monitor?
