  Version issue

  If I cut something in Xpress Pro 5.6 and my client has Xpress Pro 5.3.2 will they be able to open my project? If not, is there an XML or EDL work around other than Automatic Duck?

  Just can’t recal lif Avid was typically backward compatible with the new versions.

  It will work. If you have effects in one system that aren’t in another they won’t show up, but otherwise you shouldn’t have any problems. We bring projects from Xpress Pro 5.6 to an old Meridien system and haven’t had problems.
