Batch capturing with GY-hd100u????
I am curently digitizing with the gy-hd100u (in SD) for the first time. when i started logging this project I let my Avid “auto configure” my cam and had no comunication problems and sussecfully logged 13 tapes. My problem has came up when I came around to batch capturing (with the “auto configure” settings) My system cant find My log points (just FFWD past then says it cant find IN-timecode) I proceded to try multiple other cam settings: I had a moment of susses with ” JVC’s GY-DV500″ settings in that I was able to succesfully (batch) capture one of my clips. next time I came in to work on this project I ran into more issues now everytime I open this project I am getting the error “The port “Avid DNA” is busy and cannot be used for deck control” and my Avid can no longer control my cam (or see it at all) with any settings I try and i keep getting the”DNA busy” error. so after much putsing I cant seem to figure out whats going on. Any gy-hd100u/Avid/Mac users out there that can tell me whats work’n for you setting wise. Heck everyone, what am I missing? thanks a bunch, peace.
