    Hi,

I’d like to find the most convenient way to do the following.
I have many comps of about 5300×1080 (approx)

I need to render them out, each into three videos of 1920×1080. They will be played by three side by side projectors using a watchout system.

Is there a way to do this in one render step out of after effects into 3 wmv files?
WMV export seems unavailable in the render queue, and only in the export file-export. However, in this way, there is no cropping option.

So what is my best plan here?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ari

Instead of using Crop on output, you could create a series of 1920×1080 compositions, one for each Watchout display, each of which contains only your main 5300×1080 comp, repositioned to re-create the crops.

However, I recommend against going directly to WMV from After Effects. AE is incapable of multi-pass compression, which creates cleaner output. I always render to a lossless format and then handle compression in a third-party application.
