  Converting FCP – XML to Avid – ALE

  Is there any freeware out there that will convert a Final Cut Pro XML logging file to an Avid ALE file?

  Avid Log Exchange supports both the log file format as exported from Final Cut or the batch capture file from CinemaTools. Go to File/import and select file format. It will create an ALE.
