I want to konw how can i move, scale or position a image with transparency in Avid. I find a hard way applying resize on every channel (image+alpha) after i double click on it in timeline but is hard to do the same adustement twice every time. Thank you!

When you apply a matte key, or import an image with alpha, go into your effects editor–you can adjust the scale, position, opacity, crop, etc… of the matte key, and it affects both the matte and fill. No reason to apply a resize as well.

To elaborate on the previous gentleman’s answer, it’s very easy to use the same effect and have the parameters match every time. In effects mode, there is a small effect icon at the top of the window where you set parameters. Drag that to any bin, and you’ve saved the effect with all its settings.
