  General FireWire and DV Deck Question: Two CPUs to one Deck?

  To All:

  More of a line of speculation than an actual attempt….is there any way to hook TWO CPUs (laptop or desktop) to ONE DV Deck, using only FireWire?

  Just for grabbing video – no machine control, timecode etc.

  Any ideas?

  Maybe one of these Hubs might accomplish what you want. I don’t think the ports can all be active at the same time to capture from each computer….not sure though.
