I am a beginer/intermediate using AVID EXPRESS PRO HD, I am an advanced user of FINAL CUT PRO. So I am familiar with editing. I am trying to figure out an efficient way of extracting 1 out of every 30 frames of a clip, then make each of those frames hold for 10 frames. Thus creating a scrub / strobe effect for my demo.
Thanks in advance to any help someone is willing to share with me.

The motion effect has a strobe effect. To make it hold, do a freeze frame. You don’t get keyframable motion FX until you hit Media Composer…
