  the picture doesnt move

  smth strange happend to my avid
  when i hit the spacebar on timeline, it runs, i can hear the sound but the video is frozen…
  can anybody help…

  A window touching any part of your source record monitor will do that…

  I just had the same problem after intalling a newer version of ExpressPro.
  The problem was finally corrected after uninstalling the nVidia drivers and then reinstalling with the the nVidia exe found in C:\Program Files\Avid\Utilities\nVidia\Quadro4_980XGL
