  Audio sweetening

  I am working with some footage and the audio is a bit overmodulated. Unfortunately this is how the ftg was recorded and I will never hire this idiot audio guy again. Is there any plugin that can clean this up for me. It’s not terribly distorted but it is not useable the way it is. I don’t know much about audio sweetening as I am a picture editor but I am not going to be able to send this project out for sound design. So it’s all on me. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
