  Does Importing retain timecode information?

  I have an Avid Meridien system running Avid Xpress 4.6. I’m curious, say I had a clip digitized from a system like Final Cut Pro. The clip (video, audio, or both) would have timecode information embedded into the file. If i imported this clip into Avid (changes to OMF format), is the timecode information retained?
