  Anyone else have a problem with audio cutting out?

  Hey, has anyone had a problem with their avid audio as far as it playing continuously? Basically, when i play something on my avid the audio sometimes cuts in and out. if i export it is fine so that is not a problem, but its annoying to try and edit with audio in and out like that. If anyone knows why this is happening and how to fix it I’d really appreciate it. For the record, I have a dell precision 470 with dual 3.0 processors, a sound blaster audigy sound card, and 2 GB of ram, so as far as i know it is not the computer’s in ability to handle that much info.
