  Working with imported files that have different resolutions (720×404 and 640×480)

  I am just about to lose my mind here. I am importing 2 videos of different resolutions. One of the videos is 640 x 480 while the other is 720 x 404. I know that when I import these videos they will be resized to fit Avid

  Have you experimented with the options button on the file import browser??

  Hit the options button then select ‘maintain, square’ as your preference for resizing.
