  P2 and Avid Xpress Pro Mac

  Here is a question about the Panasonic P2 camera and editing on Avid Xpress Pro Mac version.
  I have the Xpress Pro 4.8 Mac version. I am still waiting on the Xpress Pro HD Mac version.
  How can I edit P2 footage just using my Xpress Pro 4.8 Mac?
  Do I need to downconvert the P2 format into something SD in order to edit?
  And how would I do that?
  How would I go about onlining as well.
  My system won’t be about to upres when finished correct?
  Is there a way I would able to online this on FCP HD. I have that.

  I pretty much know the answewr to these question.
  I just need a 3rd party verification for my director.
