  What’s the “avid ABVB nuvista” codec?

  I’m on a Meridien-based Avid system running Avid Xpress 4.6 on windows 2000. In my after effects 6.5, I have access to a quicktime comressor entitled “avid ABVB nuvista”. There is no “options” button for it. Just depth, quality, and FPS. what is this codec used for?

  It is legacy support codec. Prior to Meridien (version 8 and higher of MC, all of Symphony, etc) there was a boardset called ABVB.
