    I’m able to capture from my dsr-25 using premiere pro 2 to my hard drive but unable to do it in Xpress Pro….Keep getting disk sharing violation errors…someone help please..ready to jump out a window

    I still do not know what is the reason of our troubles. But just found out that there is probably something wrong with creating AIFF-C media (audio) files while capturing audio via firewire card even inporting it from hard drive.
    You can successfully capture audio when you change audio type format from AIFF-C to wav under Audio project settings. Then you can capture but Avid will not create subclips… This is not a solution but at least something… Weird is that I can not find anything online about this problem. Any success on your side?
