  HP wx8200, Avid jitters and lags, audio pops…please help!!

  Hey everyone,

  Avid was working great this morning. I have no idea what happened, but now when i press the space bar, it kind of plays, its very slow, jitters, lags, and the audio pops. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Do yo have any windows overlapping the record / source window? Even just slightly?

  Have you tried deleting your precomputes? When your system is bogged down with thousands of those files, sometimes the Avid’s performance will suffer.
